Microalgae as plant-based milk - your food tech news hub in Asia

Recently, Protoga Biotech, a Chinese company pioneering in microalgae fermentation, announced the launch of a microalgae milk product. The product is rich in protein and lutein, while at the same time being lactose and cholesterol-free and able to match consumer expectations for good taste.

The company plans to launch the new product this December and claims that it is the world’s first commercially available microalgae plant-based milk.
