Thailand’s first plant-based cheese plant will start production next year

Early next year, Thailand's first plant-based cheese start-up, Swees Plant Based Foods Co., will start production at its first pure plant-based cheese factory in the country. The new factory is expected to be fully operational during 2023. Swees announced it was preparing for a seed funding round, planned for this November.

The company was founded in 2018 by Mr. Nicolas Frauenfelder after he became a vegetarian when moving from Switzerland to Thailand. The company has quickly established itself . . .
