Yili launched plant-based yogurt - food tech news in asia

Every year in December, the Chinese dairy giant Yili Group surprises the market with new innovative products. This time Yili launched 2 new products under its sub-brand “Plant Selected”, oat milk and plant-based yogurt that were announced at the 2021 Customer Conference of Yili Group’s Liquid Milk Division.

Yili Group has been known for its dairy products ranging from fresh milk, milk powder, yogurt, and ice cream. The strategic move into the plant-based beverage market was initiated in December 2017. Plant Selected's first product was soy milk that contained 6g of protein . . .
