“Clean label” has long been trending in the food and beverage industry. While immensely popular, the “Clean label” trend is anything but stagnant, so how is it evolving these days?  Let’s find out.

The “Clean label” trend is founded on consumers’ perceptions. Some consumers don't always have a very good understanding of ingredient source, characteristics, and whether ingredients are natural or artificial. This is perhaps hindered by the term “Clean label” itself.
