Unilever unveiled the first “lighthouse” factory in the ice cream industry.

Unilever’s ice cream brand, Wall’s, has unveiled the new “intelligent factory” in Taicang city, Jiangsu province, east China. 

The intelligent factory, the world’s first “lighthouse factory” in the ice cream industry, has been implemented with smart manufacturing technology to produce ice creams. According to the Taicang’s bureau of commerce, smart technology can help reduce carbon emissions and energy and water consumption by 83 . . .
