McDonald’s China added a new breakfast menu - food tech news in Asia

Recently, the fast-food chain McDonald’s China has added a new breakfast menu featuring plant-based pork in Shanghai, Guangzhou, and Shenzhen. This is the first attempt of McDonald’s in entering the plant-based meat market in mainland China.

For the new menu, McDonald’s partnered with Green Monday to serve OmniPork Luncheon Meat, which enriches McDonald’s breakfast offering and provides customers with more delicious breakfast options at affordable prices.
