The plant-based giant, Beyond Meat, is accelerating its business activities in China; last week, Beyond Meat launched plant-based pork in Shanghai and the company plans to introduce this new product line to more cities. 

In China, minced pork is an important ingredient in traditional Chinese dishes such as spring rolls, soups, and noodles. According to Sina Corp, the annual average consumption of pork in China is 27kg per capita.
