Cargill invested in Indonesia - food tech news in asia

Cargill, one of the world’s largest food and agriculture companies, invested US$100 million in its sweetener facility in Pandaan, Indonesia, to meet the demand for corn-based starches, sweeteners, and animal feed ingredients. The facility is expected to be in full operation by early 2022.

The investment will be used to build a new corn wet mill and starch dryer to increase the production of starches and sweeteners, enabling Cargill to meet growing demand in food, industrial and feed markets in the region . . .
