Charoen Pokphand Foods (CPF), one of the leading food companies in Thailand and owned by Charoen Pokphand Group, announced in January its interest in plant-based meat for supplying the growing demand in Asia. CPF has operations in 17 countries and exports its food products to 30 countries.

CPF has opened a new R&D factory in the north of Bangkok. It also acquired Canadian pork producer Hylife last year, but so far, CPF did not disclose any further . . .
