On February 28, The National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) of China released The 2019 National Economic and Social Development; according to the statistical communique, the total output of pork, beef, mutton and poultry in 2019 was 76.49 million tons, down by 10.2 percent compared to 2018. Out of this total number, the output of pork was 42.55 million tons, down by 21.3%.
