Starfield in Luckin coffee - food tech news in Asia

On July 29, the Chinese coffee chain, Luckin Coffee, has partnered with China's plant-based meat brand, Starfield, to launch a meat-free ham alternative that is high in protein and fiber and low in fat. Luckin Coffee officially joined the ranks together with Starbucks, Heytea, Nayuki, KFC, McDonald’s, and Dicos to test the new trend of plant-based meat.
