U.S. retail giant Costco is speeding up its layout in the Chinese market. On April 9th, subsidiary of Costco in Suzhou acquired a piece of land in Suzhou New District at the cost of more than 142.5 million RMB (US$20.2 million).

Costco plans to open a new warehouse store with a floor area of more than 50,000 square meters in Suzhou New District, which became a core business area, hosting companies such as AEON from Japan, IKEA from Sweden, Decathlon from France and Costco from . . .
