Chinese fast-food restaurant chain Dicos partnered with a Chinese plant-based meat brand Starfield to launch plant-based chicken burgers in China. It is not surprised for fast-food giants to offer plant-based meat in China, but such a comparable price of around 20 RMB (US$3.00) is an enticing new option to China’s price-sensitive consumers.
