Experts say that China will become the largest cell-cultured meat market

Recently, the 2023 World Agricultural Science and Technology Innovation Conference, with the theme of "Food Security and Future Agriculture", kicked off at the Jinhai Lake International Convention and Exhibition Center in Pinggu, Beijing. At the "Future Food for Nutrition and Environmental Sustainability Forum", Mr. Zhou Guanghong, a professor at Nanjing Agricultural University, introduced the current progress and industrialization expectations of cell-cultured meat. 

Prof. Zhou showed that in 2009, China began to carry out the first stem cell screening for stem cell meat. By 2023, the pilot production of a 500-liter bioreactor for cell-cultured pig . . .
