McDonald’s accelerates expansion - food tech news in asia

On November 16th, McCafe, a coffee-house style food and beverage chain owned by McDonald’s, announced to invest 2.5 billion RMB (US$381 million) to accelerate expansion in the Chinese coffee market by adding new outlets, boosting deliveries, and diversifying snack offerings. McDonald’s accelerates expansion of its coffee brand to catch the growing trend of coffee lovers in China.

McCafe is expected to have more than 4,000 outlets in mainland China by the end . . .
