Meiji launched functional yogurts in China - food tech news in Asia

Japan’s biggest dairy company Meiji launched in China “Meiji Probio Yogurt” series which contains two types of functional yogurt, named LG21 and R-1. These 2 products have been available since April 1st, mainly in East China.

Based on Meiji’s long-term professional research results of lactic acid bacteria, Meiji uses special lactic acid bacteria strains “Lactobacillus bulgaricus 1073R-1 strain” (R-1 Lactic Acid Bacteria) and “Lactobacillus gasseri OLL2716 strain” (LG21 lactic acid bacteria), which are strictly selected from more than . . .
