The acceptance of plant-based foods among Chinese consumers is increasing/ food tech news Asia

According to a survey by Rakuten Insight, done in February 2024, the acceptance of plant-based foods among Chinese consumers is increasing. The survey shows that about 87% of Chinese respondents of the survey have tried plant-based milk. Often made from soybeans, rice, almonds, oats, or other alternatives, indicating the widespread popularity of this category.
