Tyson to build new facilities - food tech news in asia

Tyson Foods (NYSE: TSN), one of the largest meat suppliers, has announced to expand its global poultry business and plans to build large new poultry processing facilities in Thailand, China, and the Netherlands to address robust growth in protein demand.

The company says the expansion will create hundreds of local jobs. The new plant in China is expected to create more than 700 jobs and the European expansion will add more than 150 jobs. Thailand’s new plant, part of a long-standing joint venture . . .
