Vietnamese rice export surges

Vietnamese rice export surges together with its prices due to high demand from some markets such as the Republic of Korea, The Philippines and Indonesia, according to the Vietnam Food Association. It is expected that demand will continue to increase in several important markets in the coming years.

On February 27th, the price of 5% crushed rate
rice in Vietnam has been raised to US$ 388-392 per tonne, higher than the price
