Most of the meat alternatives in the market are made from soybean and pea. Manufacturers are constantly looking for nutrition sources to improve the protein content of processed foods. Best of all, algae protein has the highest protein content of any plant-based protein and it becomes a crucial alternative protein in terms of protein content to weight ratio, which is about 60%.

UBS (United Bank of Switzerland) expects the plant-based protein market to grow rapidly over the next decade. The global plant-based protein market size is expected to reach US$ 85 billion by 2030 . . .
