Nestle launched plant-based food - food tech news in asia

December 9th, the Swiss food and drink giant Nestle announced that it has launched its plant-based brand Harvest Gourmet at an event named “Unleash the Good of Plant-Based Food” in Beijing. In parallel, Nestle’s first plant-based production line in Asia was officially completed and put into operation in Tianjin.

Nestle will offer burgers, sausages, nuggets, and minced meat, and will also sell dishes aimed to appeal to Chinese tastebuds, such as kung pao chicken, braised meatballs, pork belly, and spicy wok . . .
