The biggest investment that Nestle has done in China - food tech news in asia

The global food and beverage giant Nestle has announced that it will invest US$103 million in China in 2020; this is the biggest investment yet for Nestle in China and the main purpose is to expand its manufacturing footprint for plant-based food and further strengthen its product portfolio in China.

The company plans to build its first plant-based food facility for the Asian market in Tianjin Economic-Technological Development Area (TEDA); the facility is expected to be completed and put into production by the second half of this year while the investment includes expanding . . .
